Founded in 2017 by UFTI & FDOT - I-STREETTM is a startup lab and research platform to accelerate collaboration between startups, government, industry, and investors. We enable industry leaders and startups with facilities, research support, and grant development to advance transportation, logistics, and climate industries.

I-STREETTM is a research platform for new and established companies to deploy and promote technology. Our mission is to foster collaboration between industry and government. We aim to reduce the risk and burden for organizations to adopt emerging technology.
Founded in a joint effort by UFTI, FDOT and the City of Gainesville I-STREETTM has received over $10 million in investment. Since 2017, over 20 pilots, 200 IoT devices, and 5G have been deployed to support industry and government partners.
I-STREETTM accelerator pilots are ideal for new and established companies. It's a living lab for innovative technologies in mobility, robotics and smart cities. We provide the ability to test technologies, document the impact, and promote solutions.
